ABOUT THE BIKES
As time has moved on, we have started selling complete bikes as well as parts.
Some of the bikes are from my husband's own collection and some are bikes that we buy in and are too good to be broken for parts.
To have an understanding of the type of bikes we sell please read the following:-
The condition of the bikes will vary from very clean to project bikes.
None will be show winning concourse bikes - this is not the nature of our business.
What we are trying to offer are good, usable classic bikes that you can ride every weekend and improve upon over the winter months.
As a rule of thumb, we do the following to all bikes before we sell them:-
They are serviced, carbs cleaned and have a general check over.
All this we source out to a local Kawasaki expert in Cardiff.
Once returned from him we then often fit new paintwork sets, re-cover seats if necessary and fit any small standard parts that we notice are missing, i.e. cable guides, helmet hooks etc.
We then clean and fuel the bike and offer it for sale.
We sell these bikes as classic restoration projects.
They may or may not be MOT'D
New MOT's can be supplied at extra cost to the buyer.
We feel that buying one of these bikes is a better option than buying one of the hundreds for sale on Ebay with the usual "only needs registering on the NOVA system", "a day's work to get running" etc. They may look a slightly cheaper bike at first glance but are usually more expensive to put on the road in the long run. However, I'm quite happy for you to buy one of those bikes and then you can buy all the parts off me !! :-)
You can purchase a warranty at extra cost on any bike bought if you really feel you need to.
The advertised price is the price we want for the bike.
We do not respond to emails with questions such as "What's the lowest you'll take for it?" or "What's your best price for cash?".
If you are genuinely interested in a bike then as a staring point phone us 07916270316, arrange to come and view the bike and once you have seen and heard what you are intending to buy in the flesh we may then negotiate on the price.
Any bike listed 'Awaiting Preparation' has a selling price of £10,000 - this is obviously not the price we want for it!
